Amrik Varkalis

Amrik Varkalis trained at The Manchester School of Art in the 1970's. 

She employs her complete understanding of colour and form, to create lush abstract landscapes and still life paintings.

Her bold application of paint, mark her out as an artist who wants to celebrate and share the joyfulness of the things that surround her.

Vibrant colours, often applied with a palette knife, create multi-layered, joyful bursts of energy.
